The standard iPhone 17 has a 6.3-inch OLED display, up from 6.1-inch in its predecessor.
All models include ProMotion (120 Hz) refresh rate & Always-On display functionality, even on non-Pro models.
Improved durability: better anti-reflective coating, upgraded glass (scratch resistance), etc.
The iPhone 17 Air is especially thin (~5.5-5.6 mm), making it the slimmest in the lineup.

All variants use Apple’s A19 chipset; Pro / Pro Max have a more advanced version (A19 Pro).
Connectivity improvements: rumored / confirmed support for Wi-Fi 7, updated networking chips, better efficiency.
Storage: The base model now starts at 256 GB (no smaller base), which is double what was typical before.
